Personal Project What is the personal project? • Culminating event for IBMYP students • Extension of your interests, fascinations, passions, skills, and individual abilities • Product of your application of the Areas of Interaction • Statement and product of who you are as a person and as an IBMYP student

Personal Project Personal Project Examples • An original form of art (visual, dramatic, performing) • A written piece of work on a certain topic • Create a video documentary about a local issue • Design and conduct a science experiment • Create an invention • A developed business plan, organizational plan, new student organization etc. • Becoming fully licensed in SCUBA • Building a full-scale Inuit Kayak out of wood, w/o using glue or metal • Developing a scrapbook of family history • Building a piece of furniture out of wood
