  3. Executive Committee Develop Policies and Procedures manual incorporating all policies adopted over time through the Board meetings and committee meetings Review and revise Bylaws New Board Member Orientation webinars Identify new board members

  4. Education Committee Support the growth of the self-funded industry. Develop Broker Education program to include CE credits (started in year one; continue in year 2 to complete program) Develop Employer Education program to include HR, CE, CLE, CPA credits (ongoing) HCAA booth at other industry conferences

  5. Public Relations Committee Promote the TPA Industry by: Writing articles for industry publications Add industry statistics to the website Set up the website to have more education about self-funding

  6. Government and Regulatory Affairs (GRA) Committee Evaluate activity such as TPA Model Law, PPO legislation, etc Communicate legislative activities to members Identify and recommend to the Board organizations that have legislative efforts that support our industry Keep abreast of legal issues and provide tools to members as needed

Membership Committee Develop Resource Guide on website using demographic survey Continue to evaluate and identify other opportunities to provide members-only benefits MCOL subscriptions AAPPO partnership Webinars (See Education Committee) Evaluate membership dues and determine whether an increase is appropriate (Executive Committee) Continue to increase TPA Membership nationwide

  8. Sponsorship Committee Continue to identify ways to increase value of sponsorship benefits Continue to send surveys to sponsors following each meeting Continue to evaluate sponsorship levels Strategic Partner “Speed Dating” – Executive Forum 2009

  9. Benchmarking Committee Re-establish timeline of survey release and results Identify additional topics/questions to incorporate into survey Increase participation of TPAs in the survey
