  2. definition According to Article 112 of the Indian Constitution, the Union Budget of a year, also referred to as the annual financial statement, is a statement of the estimated receipts and expenditure of the government for that particular year. Union Budget keeps the account of the government’s finances for the fiscal year that runs from 1st April to 31st March • It is classified into 2: • Revenue Budget • Capital Budget

  3. Some of the Expectations from The fy21 budget • Cash-flow boosting of middle-class taxpayer • Boost in savings for individuals • Low tax rate for partnerships and LLPS • Sector-specific incentives

  4. conclusion • The Union Budget for FY 2020 is scheduled for presentation on 1 February 2020. • The finance minister has quite some things that need to be addressed. • These include slowing demand, low industrial output and an overall GDP growth at 5%, which is the lowest in 11 years.
