  6. 5. Proof read your bills before sending them.

  7. 6. Use checklists for opening and closing files, depositions, discovery, and trials, etc.

  9. 8. Practice of family law is a calling not a job – if it becomes a job you may need to change fields and get into something else that will re-inspire you.

  10. 9. Arrive early for all appointments and court hearings – if you get there on time you are already late.
