(The pastor is responsible to the church to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to preach the biblical revelation, to engage in pastoral care ministries, to provide administrative leadership in all areas of church life, and to act as the chief spiritual leadership of members).

(Preside all regular and special business meetings of the church and of the Advisory Board and the Church Council in an impartial manner). (Shall be responsible for the organization of all church committees immediately following their election or appointment by the church.

(The church moderator can be either elder board chairman or pastor, depend on the membership population and the workers).

  20. (B) LIUC LEIZ GONG-BOU NYEI JAUV (RESPONSIBILITIES): Ninh tengx Jiu Baang domh ciev bieiv mienh, ninh se zoux cieiv bieiv dorh jiu baang yiem nyungc -nyungc jauv, maiv gunv koi wuic nyei jauv fai haaix nyungc jauv yaac zeiz, ninh se benx tengx ciev bieiv wuov dauh yaac caux ciev bieiv wuov dauh daav za’eix ceix jiu baang, yaac zoux jiu baang nyei bieiv zeiv, zoux daav za’eix caux ca’laangh nyei mienh. (His responsibilities same as Moderator, plus agrees to and must approve by the church to serve and as Moderator when office of Moderator becomes vacant).

  21. (C) Puix Duqv Zoux Borng Ciev Bieiv Mienh Wuov Dauh (Qualification). (1) Lingh wuonh caux hnamv nyei jauv oix zuqc benx domh mienh (Spiritual/ emotional maturity); (2) Oix zuqc maaih ceix jiu baang nyei banh zeic (Administrative ability); (3) Zoux jiex camv-nyungc jiu baang gong nyei mienh (Wide experience in church work); (4) Dongh mienh camv taaih nyei mienh (Has the respect and admiration of others);

(5) Hiuv duqv ciev biev mienh nyei gong-bou jauv dongh haaix nyungc (Understands that the office of Vice- moderator is considered a training opportunity for the office of Moderator) (6) Oix zuqc benx Jiu baang ginv daaih nyei mienh (Elected by the Congregation) (7) Borng ciev bieiv nyei mienh se gauh camv jiex benx Jiu Baang nyei borng-buoz mienh nyei bieiv (Vice-moderator usually a chairman of the Deacons).

  23. 5. ZINH KOUX FAI GOUX NYAANH MIENH (TREASURER) (A) Ninh oix zuqc benx dongh haih sienx duqv yaac bungx hnyouv duqv nyei mienh, caux maaih zingh nyeic haih zoux gong mbiauc nyei mienh, liemh jienv fiev nzangc fai haih longc computer mborqv nzaangc. (He/She shall be a person who is Trust Worthy and has the skills usually attributed to a bookkeeper, including computer and relational skills).

(He/She must be a Christian and an active member of the church). (Administrative ability);

  26. (1) LIUC LEIZ GONG-BOU NYEI JAUV (FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (a) Benx dauh jiu baang nyei jien, benx zangv jiu baang nyei guanh. (Act as an officer of the church, member of the Steering Board Committee). (b) Oix zuqc gunv goux yietc zungv jiu baang duqv zipv bieqc caux saaiv longc cuotv nyei yietc zungv zinh nyaanh yaac sauv longx nyei, yaac oix zuqc caux liuc leiz jiu baang gong nyei guanh jiu tong. (Will be responsible for an accurate accounting of all funds received by the church and all disbursements made in cooperation with the administrative staff).

  30. (c) Mbenc setv mueiz wuov norm hnyaangx nyei nyaanh daan daaih bun mienh mangc. (Prepare final year end statements to contributors). (d) Goux mangc, dimv mangc, caux mbenc lorz gong-dorngx longc nyei check caux siou nyaanh daan. (Monitor, reconcile, and replenish the office checking and saving account).

  31. 7. GOUX NYAANH NYEI SOU-BIUV (FINANCIAL SECRETARY/BOOKKEEPER) A. Puix Duqv Benx Zoux Gong Nyei Mienh (Qualification).  (a) Ninh oix zuqc benx dauh dongh mienh haih sienx duqv yaac haih bungx hnyouv duqv, yaac maaih zingh nyeic yiem sou-nzangc nyei jauv caux longc computer nyei jauv nyei mienh. (He/She shall be a person who is Trust Worthy and has the skills usually attributed to a bookkeeper, including computer and relational skills. (b) Ninh oix zuqc benx dauh sienx Yesu nyei mienh yaac ndorm muonz jorm hnyouv mingh zoux leiz-baaix. (He/She must be a Christian and an active member of the church).

  33. B. Liuc Leiz Gong-Bou Nyei Jauv (Functions and Responsibilities). (1) Oix zuqc gunv goux yietc zungv yiem ziex bung zipv nyaanh nyei jauv, dorh nyaanh mingh dapv nyaanh tangv fai (bank) dongh jiu baang dingc daaaih wuov, caux yaac oix saauv longx nyaanh nyei jauv, yaac dimv cing daaih box bun jiu baang duqv hiuv, buo hlaax yietc nzunc, caux yietc hnyaangx yietc nzunc. (Be responsible for receiving monies from all sources for the church, depositing such monies in the bank designated by the church, and accounting in detail the sources of these monies to the church quarterly and annually).
