  4. Unclear power(核能) 目前世界上進行商業運轉的核能電廠都是以鈾為燃料 進行核分裂連鎖反應進而產生熱能，再將水加熱成高 溫高壓的水蒸汽，用於推動汽輪機，再帶動發電機產 生能量.

  6. Introduction of the disaster • On April 26, 1986, reactor 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded . Radioactive fallout (放射性的落塵) from Chernobyl spread throughout Europe and even reached Japan and the United States. Nearly 400,000 people were evacuated.

  13. Worldwide effects • The explosion at Chernobyl acted like a volcano, blowing radioactive(放射性的) particles(微粒) far into the sky. Wind moved the plume(煙塵), or cloud of radioactive particles, all around the world.

  15. Conclusion 車諾比事件震驚全球,不僅僅造成蘇俄本國的損失 慘重,其他世界各國也面臨了嚴重的環境汙染.車 諾比事件引起了全球的關注,讓我們了解到核能的 危險性,也因此更加小心的使用核能.
