  2. OGS It is an internationally-oriented public research institute funded and monitored by the Italian Ministry of Education and Research. Its roots date back to the School of Astronomy and Navigation founded in Trieste by empress Maria Theresa of Austria in 1753.

Summer School in Sustainable Blue Growth OGS - Bosch Foundation Trieste, 14-18 July 2014 Human resources development and strengthening of professional skills in South East Europe: The project’s main objective is to strengthen capacities, increase professional skills of managerial and research staff and improve the quality of research-based methods and instruments in oceanography including integrated coastal area management and environmental sustainability. The training is addressed to participants from South East Europe: namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine. Participants from Italy and Germany will be also invited to participate. HAREISEE
