  2. “FOR THE RECORD” Please take a moment to fill out the insert found in your Worship Bulletin! One per family will help with planning. FOR THE RECORD is also used to verify voting members, to help the church office keep up with changes in addresses. Thanks for your help!!

  3. CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Regarding the County easement for water line across RLC property. on NOVEMBER 10TH BETWEEN THE SERVICES at 9:45 AM

  4. HOSPITALITY COME, YE THANKFUL PEOPLE, COME Grateful for all God has given us, we will come together for one Thanksgiving service at 10:00 AM on November 24TH.After the service we will have a POTLUCK LUNCHEON. Each family is asked to bring a main course, salad, or dessert to serve 8 or more. Rolls and beverages will be provided. Please sign-up on the “Bee” bulletin board indicating what you will bring to share. After the luncheon we will be decorating the Church for Advent.

  5. HOPE HOUSE It’s that time of year again when we help HOPE HOUSE restock their pantry.  Please take a leaf from the window in the Narthex and bring it back with item that you purchased.  As always “Thank You” for your support!   6. RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE RLC is sponsoring Blood Drive Sunday,November 17th 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM RLC Fellowship Hall On-line appointments can be made at Redcrossblood.org or call Judy Troast at 540-972-5541.

  7. Grief and You: Understanding and Living with Grief Adult Forum Grief & You Session V Sunday Morning 9:45 a.m.– 10:45 a.m. 03 November 2013

  8. Women of the ELCA “WELCA” "In Good Company: Stories of Biblical Women” November’s study focus is on The Widow of Zarephath, A Trusting Follower.” Who: RLC Women of the ELCA “WELCA” Where: RLC Conference Room When: November 14th at 9:30 AM

  9. “I WAS HUNGRY AND YOU FED ME...” • Team 6, Bushmans, Evans, Thompsons, day to cook at the Thurman Brisben Center is Sunday, November 17th. Please help by providing on of the food items for this meal. Sign up on the bulletin board in the narthex. All food should be at the church by 11:00 AM on Sunday, November 17th.

  10. ANGEL TREE As the Christmas Season approaches, please consider bringing non-perishable food items, both holiday and pantry staples, for the Angel Tree food boxes. These items will be mixed with the Boy Scout collection to fill boxes for each family. The Angel Tree will be decorated by Thanksgiving. Resurrection is partnering with Chancellor School again this year.

  12. Men’s Breakfast and Bible study first Saturday of each month. The next Bible Study will be December 7th. 8:00 - 9:00 AM in the Conference Room.

  13. Please join us Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. RLC Conference Room Studying the Book of Hebrews there’s room for you!

  14. MICAH SEEKS ITEMS TO HELP AREA’S HOMELESS Micah Ecumenical Ministries needs items to help people who are homeless or trying to get back on their feet. The nonprofit is asking for: travel-size soaps, razors for men and women, underwear for men and women, and summer clothes. Donations can be dropped off at Micah’s hospitality center, 1013 Princess Anne St. in Fredericksburg, weekdays from 10 AM – 2 PM.

  15. Altar Flowers, Communion Elements The 2013 sign-up sheets are posted outside the church office. Please consider contributing, $25 for altar flowers and $25 for communion elements, to the church “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” a loved one, or for “The Glory of God.”
