2. When was the First Still Camera in Color Made? • “Photography" is derived from the Greek words photos ("light") and graphein ("to draw") The word was first used by the scientist Sir John F.W. Herschel in 1839. It is a method of recording images by the action of light, or related radiation, on a sensitive material.

3. How many different types of cameras are there? • Cameras have evolved since the birth of photography in the middle of the 19th century to an almost unrecognizable level. Yet, virtually all of the camera types ever used still exist, and you still can shoot images with them. As the technology has changed, many of the basic camera types have adapted. That means that the type of single-lens reflex you picked up to use in 1959 may be digital now and not film, but the basic functions of the camera remain intact. 4. Abbe Giovanna Caselli • In 1862 Abbe Giovanna Caselli invented pantelgraph which sends the still images with wires. May and Smith the other scientists in 1873 started their experiments with selenium and light which shows that they can convert these images to electronic signals.

5. When and What Was The First Film Made? • The first machine patented in the United States that showed animated pictures or movies was a device called the "wheel of life" or "zoopraxiscope". Patented in 1867 by William Lincoln, moving drawings or photographs were watched through a slit in the zoopraxiscope.

6. 1876 • In 1876 George Boston a civil servant made the drawing of selenium camera which makes people see by electricity. After that some engineers and scientists like Figuier, Senlecq and Paivia gave designs for telectroscope.

7. When Was The First Still Camera Put on the Market? • There were many different inventors that contributed to making the first camera. However, 1888 was the year the camera was put on the market. The company that developed it was called the Eastman Dry Plate and Film Company.

8. The First Video Camera? • Louis Lumiere is the person most often credited for the invention of the first motion picture camera. This was in 1895, and although other people had invented similar cameras at around the same time, Lumiere's was the only one that was portable.

9. Fantasmagorie • Fantasmagorie is an 1908 French animated film by Émile Cohl. It is one of the earliest examples of traditional (hand-drawn) animation, and considered by film historians to be the first animated cartoon.”

10. Steam Boat Willie • Disney's Steamboat Willie is a landmark in the history of animation. It was the first Mickey Mouse film released and the first cartoon with matching sound. It threw silent animation into a thing of the past, and launched an empire. Previously, there had been little to distinguish Disney's cartoons from those of his competitors. He was facing bankruptcy when Alan Crosland's The Jazz Singer, with long sequences of song and dialogue, took America by storm in 1927. Sensing that sound movies meant big business, Disney decided to stake all on his talking mouse. The movie opened at the Colony Theater in New York on November 18, 1928, a date that would become known as Mickey's birthday.

First Disney animated movie • Predicted to be “Disney’s folly” because of its long production time and astronomical cost, Snow White was the first full-length animated feature, and it became a monster hit. Glowing with color and filled with out of this world 1930s visual detail, the movie also boasted catchy tunes and unforgettable characters in a classic folk tale. Small children may be frightened by Snow White’s terrified dash through the night forest, the frightening Wicked Queen and her poisoned apple, and Snow’s singing voice, high enough to crack her glass coffin. Heigh-ho!
