  3. bothered The kids bothered their mom while she was cooking because they were hungry and bored.

  4. flap The flap on the front of the tent zips open and closed to serve as a door.

  5. cautiously The lioness and her cubs cautiously explored the presents the zookeepers gave them.

  6. unmistakable These types of clouds in the sky are an unmistakable sign that a thunderstorm is coming soon.

  7. precaution When my baby brother was born, my parents put a gate around the pool as a precaution so that my brother wouldn’t fall in by accident.

  8. winced The girl winced as she got a shot, but she did not cry.

  9. stuffy A person who is always very serious and does not smile or enjoy themselves much can be described as stuffy.

  10. lopsided Our snowman was a little lopsided, but we still liked it.

  11. threatened When I saw a boy being threatened by a another boy, I went to get help from a teacher.
