  4. Where is it located? • At Monterey and ChorroStreets.

  6. What do I think about this mission? • I think this mission is awesome and BIG.

  7. List any special or unique qualities this mission has. The Grizzly Bear Fountain, Rock Art, Fr. Serra statue, and signs

  8. Was the mission ever damaged? Was it fixed? • It was damaged by flaming arrows and it was fixed.

  9. Who lived at the mission? What Indian tribe lived at the mission? • Father Serra, the Chumash tribe.

  10. What was daily life on the mission? • Not much food, a lot of chores, never get to rest

  11. Did the Native Americans like their lives at the mission? • No, they did not like their lives, because there was not enough food and too much work.

  12. What did your mission grow? • Wheat, corn, and vineyards

  13. List interesting facts about your mission? • It has a large population of bears near it. The creek by the mission once supplied water. Harry Downie made the L-shaped church. And this mission made the very first roof tiles.
