  4. U6 TEAMS

  5. U6 Games Focus: These games are focused on fun and equal playing time for all. There is absolutely NO focus on winning at this level. Keeping score is not encouraged but if games lack competitiveness the winning team should pull a player. All players should have the opportunity to play all positions. Format: 4v4 (no goalies) … coaches are encouraged to play a 1-2-1 formation placing 1 player in the back, 2 at mid field, and one solo player up front. Roster size:8 players Duration:40 minutes total … 2/20 minute halves with a 5 minute break between halves

RULES • Coaches will ref • Tap will see two players standing back to back in the middle of the field … the game begins when the whistle blows and the players turn around • After each goal the team scored upon will have tap in the middle of the field which may go forward or backward but MUST BE A PASS TO SOMEONE • All out of bounds plays result in an direct kick-in from the spot the ball left the field • Hand balls and other minor infractions will be LOOSELY called • Tripping infractions or any other infraction deemed to be dangerous to the safety of theplayers will be called resulting in a direct kick from the spot of the infraction • Scoring is encouraged … Kids love to score goals

  8. U8 Games • Focus: These games are focused on fun and equal playing time for all. There is absolutely NO focus on winning at this level. Keeping score is not encouraged but if games lack competitiveness the winning team should pull a player. All players should have the opportunity to play all positions. • Ages: 6 and 7 year olds • Format: 6v6 (5 field players and 1 goalie)…. Coaches are encouraged to play two players up, one at mid and two players back. • Roster size: 10 players • Duration: 40 minute games … 2/20 minute halves with a 5 minute half time

RULES • Referees will be assigned (zero tolerance for referee abuse from coaches, players, or fans) • Tap will be decided by a coin toss • All out of bounds plays will result in a throw in from the spot the ball left the field of play • Hand balls and other minor infractions will be loosely called … all infractions will result in a direct kick from the spot of the infraction. • Tripping infractions or any other infraction deemed to be dangerous by the referee to the safety of the players will be called resulting in a direct kick from the spot of the infraction. • Scoring is encouraged … Kids love to score goals

All players should have the opportunity to play all positions. • Ages: 8and 9 year olds • Format:8v8 (7 field players and 1 goalie)…. Coaches are encouraged to play 3-3-1 formation. • Roster size:12 players • Duration:2 25 minute halves with 5 minute halftime

NO cherrypickers. • Scoring is encouraged … However if a team is up by more than 4 goals the opposition can place another player on the field

  14. U12 Games • Focus: These games are focused on fun and equal playing time for all. Keeping score is not encouraged but if games lack competitiveness the winning team should pull a player. All players should have the opportunity to play all positions. • Ages: 10 and 11 year olds • Format: 8v8 (7 field players and 1 goalie)…. Coaches are encouraged to play a 3-3-1formation • Roster size:12 players • Duration:50 minute games … 2/25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time
