Through the “Lift Every Voice and Read” campaign, the Coretta Scott King Book Awards seek to foster awareness of children’s literature told and illustrated from the African American perspective. Remember through the “Lift Every Voice and Read” campaign, all children are given the ability to explore the world and find themselves.
