  2. 5 p’s of Coffee Fest Product: coffee has been enjoyed by many for hundreds of years and retailers around the world depend on this drink for millions of dollars in profits annually. Our main objective is to help coffee retailers improve their business for an even greater profit year after year
  3. 5p’sContinued… Price: Attending this show is often an investment toward the success of your coffee endeavor. Early bird registration is $20 until May 22, 2009 and $30 after May 22nd.

  5. 5 p’s continued… Positioning: Within the Coffee industry we proudly rank very high and set ourselves apart from all other related shows by dedicating ourselves to helping new and existing coffee retailers, distributors, and businesses. 81 percent of our attendees attend only this tradeshow each year.
  6. 5 p’s continued… Public Relations: PR is important in any tradeshow and Coffee fest is no exception. In order to improve the show and attract new attendees a qualitative and quantitative survey is sent to each attendee asking for constructive advice on how to improve the show. Doing so keeps Coffee fest easily recognized and held highly within the industry.
  7. 5 w’s of the Coffee Fest Why attend: Attending will simply prove to be an asset in whatever aspect of the coffee industry each attendee is involved in, educational seminars, ways to improve revenue, as well as new and innovative product information are offered each day of the three day show
  8. 5 w’s continued… Who attends: A large number of our attendees are entrepreneurs with a new business, a type of distributors, and coffee retailers

  10. 5 w’s continued… What is purpose: The purpose of our show is to introduce new technology and products to attendees who are essentially representing the coffee industry. Education is our top priority, especially toward helping with the success of new and old coffee related businesses.
  11. Retaining Attendees for last day of show Coffee fest has extended almost all of their seminars and educational sessions to Sunday, most attendees will stay for the final day since some seminars can cost up to $345 for three days and they would like to get their moneys worth. Also a large number of the free classes and workshops are offered on Sunday which will entice attendees to stay an extra day.

Advertising There isn’t much advertising done for the show because it is all industry attendees which many have a long standing tradition of attendance therefore advertising is not worth the cost. Offer more direct mail from the website. Attendees are very interested in our sponsors, so by sending a reminder flyer or email with a discount coupon for one of our sponsors, the sponsor will get advertising, and also successfully remind attendees of the upcoming show.
  13. Specialty Advertising Items Coffee Fest will be giving away a high quality, very practical portfolio, able to be used during the workshops and classes. For valued attendees a first class, premium, coffee thermos will be available. With stainless steel and grips this is a giveaway fit for only our most treasured attendees and sponsors.
  14. Registration Coffee Fest has registration for exhibitors and attendees separately. The attendee’s registration can be done online with a credit card number that you enter on the website. Registering to be an exhibitor gives you the option of filling out a form and mailing it to a specific address or registering online.
  15. Registering online Submit information about your address and company that you are representing. Choose from a list of all the workshops and which ones you would like to attend. Only workshops/classes that cost money are offered on this list however. after selecting the workshops, the computer totals the amount due and asks for either a coupon or your credit card information. The next step is about travel and finally confirmation of your registration.

Speakers attending the show “Ultimate Profitability in hard times for your retail coffee operation” features a well known coffee expert named Chris Legler, whose vast experience and knowledge of finance specifically tailored to the coffee industry, brings an unrivaled expertise to your business.
  17. Direct Mail Sticker A polyester sticker known for its excellent life and adhesion to almost all objects and surfaces will be used, they also are weather resistant and made out of top grade products. The sticker will have the signature cup of coffee in the middle. It will have the signature colors of the show and Coffee Fest 2009 will be printed on the top, J June 12-14th, 2009 will be printed on the bottom

  19. LatteArtChampionships Forty contestants compete in two preliminary rounds held on Friday and Saturday morning, with 10 baristas moving on to the finals on Sunday. The Millrock Free Pour Latte Art Champion will walk away with $5,000, 2nd place $1,000 and 3rd place $500.Contestants will be given five minutes to prepare the work area, adjust, grind etc. Following the five minute preparation time, contestants will be given five minutes to produce as many as three different free-pour lattes.

  21. Advertising Methods Two methods used to advertise could be to place an ad on some of our sponsors websites, also send out a post card to all attendees and exhibitors. To advertise in a magazine like “Coffee Talk” it will cost around $2850 to $3400 for a full page, on the front back cover. To send out approx. 3000 Postcards, the total cost will be around $1,950.
  22. Competition Coffee Fest’s competition is a Coffee, Tea, Chocolate Expo however it has been postponed due to economic conditions. Barista is also a sponsor of Coffee Fest, hosting several workshops at our upcoming show.
  23. Fundraisers There isn’t a fundraiser set up during the show however if I was suggesting one I would recommend something involving the Make a Wish foundation. They are credible, reliable, and have a great reputation. The fundraiser can be related to coffee by raising money from selling high quality coffee and pastries at local hospitals. All money collected will go to families struggling to take care of their child in a hospital
