WHO IS THE LORD TALKING ABOUT? JEWS? GENTILES? WHO WAS NOT CALLED BY THE NAME OF THE LORD? READ: ISAIAH 63:19 19 We have become like those of old, over whom You never ruled, Those who were never called by Your name.

  7. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 1 "I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,‘To a nation that was not called by My name. READ: EZEKIEL 20:31-32 31 For when you offer your gifts and make your sons pass through the fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols, even to this day. So shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live," says the Lord GOD, "I will not be inquired of by you. 32 What you have in your mind shall never be, when you say, 'We will be like the Gentiles, like the families in other countries, serving wood and stone.' NKJV

  8. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 1 "I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,‘To a nation that was not called by My name. WHO IS THE LORD TALKING ABOUT? JEWS? GENTILES? HOW DID THE LORD RESPOND TO THEM? READ: HOSEA 1:10 10 'Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,'There it shall be said to them, 'You are sons of the living God.' NKJV

  9. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 1 "I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,‘To a nation that was not called by My name. WHO IS THE LORD SPEAKING ABOUT? JEWS? GENTILES? WHAT DID PAUL SAY: READ: ROMANS 1:16-17 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

  10. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 WHAT DID PAUL SAY: READ: ROMANS 9:22-26 22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 25 As He says also in Hosea: "I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved." 26 "And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,‘ There they shall be called sons of the living God."

  11. JEWS? GENTILES? HOW DID THE LORD RESPOND TO THEM? WHAT DID PAUL SAY: READ: ROMANS 10:20-21 20 But Isaiah is very bold and says: "I was found by those who did not seek Me;I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me." 21 But to Israel he says: "All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people."

  12. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 WHO IS THE LORD SPEAKING ABOUT? JEWS? GENTILES? HOW DID THE LORD RESPOND TO THEM? WHAT DID PAUL SAY: READ: EPHESIANS 2:11-13 11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh — who are called Un-circumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands — 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. NKJV

  13. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 65:1 WHO IS THE LORD SPEAKING ABOUT? JEWS? GENTILES? HOW DID THE LORD RESPOND TO THEM? WHAT DID PAUL SAY: READ: EPHESIANS 2:17-18 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. NKJV
