This process is called deboning, which takes away the inner layers of the meat. and can be accomplished by simply rotating the slicer's blade. Another important function of the slicers is to cut down on the amount of fat and juices left on the meat after cooking. Because the slicers come in different sizes, it is often necessary to have two of them in order to be able to cut down on the amounts of fat and juices on a larger piece of meat.
