BUILD A BUTT: BUILD A WHAT?! Build Colorectal Cancer Screening Awareness

In March 2014, a public awareness campaign in Waterloo and Wellington invited people to "build a butt" out of any material and submit it to the Build a Butt Contest Facebook page. The objective of the contest was to reduce barriers and engage discussion about colorectal cancer screening, while encouraging people to get screened through a fun interactive contest. The top 10 finalists were awarded grocery gift cards as incentives. The contest received 36 submitted photos and had a total of 221 Facebook likes on the contest page.
