The wide range of subjects that come under the umbrella term of Humanities range from anthropology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, English, Hindi and Education. Thus, it is a broad category encompassing several disciplines that cannot be studied under the natural sciences. Humanities are a field of academics that deals with a scientific study of the human society and culture. Humanities degrees are required in technology too, as they give context to the world we operate in our day to day life. The field of Arts, briefly, refers to the expression of creativity found in the societies of humans and culture. Humanities and Arts are central to all human cultures since the beginning of human civilization. Their study can facilitate deeper intercultural understanding and lay the groundwork for a civically engaged life. These can also prepare the students to think critically, act creatively, and succeed in a rapidly and constantly changing world. OUR PROGRAMS The School of Humanities & Arts at the Maharishi University offers graduate and post-graduate programs namely Bachelor of Arts (BA) (both Pass and Honors) and Master of Arts (MA), respectively. Candidates who look to pursue a course in Master of Arts, need to be dedicated and focused towards the subject opted. A Masters
