  3. Who Causes Division • Not determined by: • Majority or "who leaves" • 1John 1:7 cf. Psalm 119:105 • This is how unity exists • 2 John 9-11 • This is why division exists

  4. Why Divided Over: • Instrumental music in worship? • Name we wear? • Church support of institutions? • Divorce & remarriage?

  5. How Obtain Unity • Not by compromise • Unity in error is sinful • Not by ignoring differences • Believe it is possible • Accept Common Standard • Bible authority for all we teach and practice

  6. What Must I Do To Be Saved? • Hear the gospel (Rom. 10:17) • Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37) • Repent of your sins (Luke 13:3) • Confess your faith (Mt. 10:32) • Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38) • Faithful unto death (Rev. 2:10)
