How to Enable or Disable Push Notifications in Google Chrome The push notifications feature permits the applications, sites, and some browsing software from sending notifications, private messages and different types of alerts. If you enable push notifications on your default browser, then it will help you to get updates about the latest news and some other interesting stuff. In case you disable the push notifications on your default browser, then you will not get any notifications from any websites. Follow the instructions given below to enable or disable push notifications from the Google Chrome.

  2. Steps to Enable or Disable Push Notifications in Google Chrome • For Android Users: • Click on the Google Chrome menu. It resembles a “three straight dots and is given in the top right side of the browsing application. • •    Choose the “Settings” option from the pull-down menu. • •    You will get the “Settings” option on the screen. You have to choose the “Site Settings” option. • •    Choose the “Notifications” option below the “Site Settings” button. • •    You will get the two settings to option on the screen such as: • The first option needs your permission to permit the website for sending the push notifications from the Google Chrome browser. • The second option is to block all the websites so that they can’t send notification by using the Google Chrome browser. • •    You also can give permission to get notifications from any particular websites by choosing the Lock symbol which is shown on the left-hand column of the text field. After that, press on the “Notifications” button and choose the “Allow” or “Block” option.

After finding it, tap on the “Content settings” button. • •    Now, you will get the “Content settings” on display, covering the Google Chrome window. Go down till you will get the “Notifications” column that will offer the three option on the display such as: • The first option is to give permission to all sites for sending push notifications by using Google Chrome. • The second option is to command Google Chrome for asking permission when the website try to push notifications to the Google Chrome browser. • The third option is to block the applications and websites so that they are not able to send notifications.
