  3. Water Fairs – Vision Statement • To bring water education to the students and residents of the state.

  4. Goals and Objectives • To outline a basic Water Fair. • To present resources available to communities for water education.

  5. Why a Water Fair? • A Water Fair can be used to educate the general public about water and wise water use. • Brings the community together for its own enrichment.

  6. What is a Water Fair? • A concentrated learning situation, usually broken into classes. • Usually no more than 25 minutes • Five minute class change • Interactive activities with models • Can be one or two days • Students on day one • General public on day two

  7. Who to Target • Students • 4th and 9th grade students have water use as part of their CORE curriculum. • Can include all grades. • Residents • Anyone with an interest in water use.
