  2. Step 1. Optimize Your Sonic Soak Aluminum Foil Test Step 2. Test Your Sonic Soak Stain Removal Test Your ultrasonic dreams are about to come true! First, we need to make sure your power settings are correct before using your Sonic Soak. Look like you’re ready for your Sonic Soak’s first test. 1 1 Pour roughly a teaspoon of Coke or soy sauce onto a white sock, handkerchief, or piece of cloth – not too much! Fill a container large enough to completely submerge the Sonic Soak with water. Plug Sonic Soak into wall outlet after ensuring controller is fully dry. SOY SAUCE 2 2 Place stained item and 1 teaspoon of laundry detergent into a small container of water and position the Sonic Soak transducer directly below or on top of the stain. Place a small, flat sheet of aluminum foil 5 cm (~1/2 inch) from the transducer. It may help to carefully fold the sheet into a cylinder and enclose the transducer with the foil. Turn on the Sonic Soak for 3 minutes – consult your instruction manual on how to do this. 3 3 900 Run Sonic Soak for 900 seconds. See if stain is gone – if not, increase intensity and repeat the stain removal test. If problems persist, see the instruction manual for additional cleaning tips. SET After 3 minutes, turn off the Sonic Soak and inspect the aluminum oil for small holes – indicating the Sonic Soak is functioning and producing ultrasonic cavitation. If you do not see visible holes after this test, consult your user manual to increase the intensity of the Sonic Soak and repeat the test with a new aluminum foil sheet. We hope you enjoy your Sonic Soak.
