  1. Climate Care What cause Earth Pollution and how to decrease it.

  2. Climate Care Pollution refers to introduction of elements to the ecosystem that can cause harm to the various components of the environment in one way or another . Land, air and water pollution are the major environmental hazards that poses great danger to both human and animal health.

  3. Land Pollution This is caused by release of harmful materials into the land. This waste includes domestic waste, municipal waste and non-biodegradable materials such as plastics. These materials make the land unsuitable for various economic activities such as agriculture.

  4. Land Pollution Cutting the trees can cause also land pollution. Land can’t afford new trees because of polluted water, air and itself. There are a lot of companies which are protecting amazon cut down and there are lots of campaigns how to use paper effectively, how to protect amazon cut down etc…

  5. Amazon(1950s-2015s)

  8. Air Pollution

  9. Air Pollution Land Pollution can also cause of air pollution. What can cause air pollution? • Reduce of trees • Fuel combustion • Industrial • Carbon dioxide • Smoking Earth pollution is the major environmental hazards that poses great danger to both human and animal health.

  11. Water Pollution Dirty water is the world's biggest health risk, and continues to threaten both quality of life and public health in the United States. When water from rain and melting snow runs off roofs and roads into our rivers, it picks up toxic chemicals, dirt, trash and disease-carrying organisms along the way. Many of our water resources also lack basic protections, making them vulnerable to pollution from factory farms, industrial plants, and activities like fracking. This can lead to drinking water contamination, habitat degradation and beach closures.

  12. Water Pollution Human activities are contaminating the world’s water systems and disrupting the lives of animals. From toxic chemical runoff  to the accumulation of litter miles away from land, here are five ways water pollution is killing animals: • More Than a Million Sea Birds and Mammals Are Killed Each Year By Ingestion of Plastic • Chemical Runoff  From Farms Has Caused 400 Dead Zones Around the World • Cruise Ships Dump More Than 250,000 Gallons of Wastewater and Sewage Every Day • Acid Rain Discharges Toxic Amounts of Aluminum into the Water Systems

  14. How to decrease Earth pollution • DO NOT pour fat from cooking or any other type of fat, oil, or grease down the sink.  Keep a “fat jar” under the sink to collect the fat and discard in the solid waste when full. • DO NOT dispose of household chemicals or cleaning agents down the sink or toilet.  Simsbury has a  Hazardous Waste Collection day usually from 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at Henry James School. • DO NOT flush pills, liquid or powder medications or drugs down the toilet.  For recommendations on proper disposal for all types of medical wastes.

  15. How to decrease Earth pollution • Run the dishwasher or clothes washer only when you have a full load.  This conserves electricity and water. • Use the minimum amount of detergent and/or bleach when you are washing clothes or dishes.  Use only phosphate free soaps and detergents. • Avoid using a garbage disposal.  Keep solid wastes solid.  Make a compost pile from vegetable scraps.

  16. How to decrease Earth pollution • Switch to green energy suppliers • Where possible use video conferencing or telephone.Plan ahead and combine trips • Use public transport,it can often provide extra valuable working time. • Ensure heating is on at the right level and not too hot so people will have to open windows • Make sure heating does not come on unneccessarily in an empty building.
