  1. Nashville Skyline Turquoise - Bedroom Wall Art Poster Decor | Posters for Room Decoration 6 years ago, after a 90 hour work week, I drove into Nashville, walked across one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world, and shot a skyline of the city just after sunset. I sent the image off to the printer and a roll of 3 raw canvases arrived about a week later. (This is the other, dark blue skyline you'll see in this Nashville collection). I put it onto a wooden frame and hung it up in the gallery I was working in, it sold out in 48 hours. I ordered 11 more and they sold out within the week. This launched my career. I continued working 80/90 hours a week and continued traveling the world building my portfolio. Paris, NYC, London, Venice, LA, Florida, DC, Denver, Montreal, Chicago, Quebec, Ireland, Toronto, and many more. But I always intended to come back to Nashville one day, and I did about a month ago. Last night I went out and shot the same image, but updated it for 2019, reflecting all the growth that's happened in this beautiful place in the past 6 years. Snow in Nashville! The temperature was below freezing, as I carried my vintage 1970s camera equipment to this spot.

  2. This angle of the Nashville Skyline had been requested by many collectors but never fulfilled. The angle of the Batman Building held me back. Too far to the side and you didn't see the 2 spires and was no longer "Nashville". I wouldn't give up though, and drove 900 miles from Florida to finally get this shot! Delicious smells of BBQ and Hot Chicken filled the air on Lower Broadway as we walked here while the snow fell silently in the dead of night. The riverfront from the Memorial Bridge was lit up in a vibrant Orange & White. This site was close to silent, other than the gentle lapping of waves from the river. I paced up and down the bridge, fingers trembling from the piercing cold. I took several pictures and nothing looked right. I felt like it would be a shivering winter failure. But after many many attempts, I finally got it! This angle allowed the spires on the Batman Building to be recognizable, with nothing else in the way! This made a lot of collectors happy, and I'll always be grateful for my amazingly patient audience!
