  2. What is meant by speaking? Speaking is the ability to say things and express ....thoughts aloud It’s the productive skill in the oral mode. It, like the other skills, is more complicated than it seems at first and involves more than just pronouncing words. Speaking is very important for students. Through speaking they can exchange everyday information, ideas, opinion, narrate a story, make a rehearsed oral presentation, use correct intonation and stress, and maintain conversation.

  3. Issues to be Discussed:- • Uninteresting exercises . • Related and interesting examples . • Varity of speaking exercises . • Difficult exercises . • Irrelevant exercises .

  5. Difficulties in speaking exercises in E4P Most of speaking exercises in E4P are suitable for the level of the students . However there are some difficult dialogues .conversations for the students

  8. Dialogues , conversations , role plays that are irrelevant to the theme of the preceding listening materials In the second and third stage ,there are some exercises which are irrelevant to the previous listening or reading lesson. Also there are examples that irrelevant from SB&WB.

  19. Why do we have poor speakers of English?? 1- Dense curriculum 2- Teachers focus on Vocabulary and Grammar . 3- Final exams focus only on one type of speaking questions . 4- Students don’t practice speaking.
