Computers in Classrooms 5-6 student computers in all classrooms provide for centers/rotations that include on-line individualized learning grades K-5 “May do” time can be spent on computers exploring specific educational sites
On-line Programs Used at MPE IXL Math Education City Accelerated Reader Lexia Imagine Learning Quia Sumdog These programs allow individualized learning and progress at students’ appropriate levels
iPads/iPod Touches 3rd Grade utilizing iPads 1st Grade utilizing iPod Touches Special Education utilizing iPads Para use of iPads Teacher use of iPads via AVG cords
Para Professionals Work with small groups of students—both pull out/push in model 1 para is currently piloting utilizing iPads for small group instruction Paras provide the opportunity for doing centers which supports differentiated instruction
