  1. (Isa 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10) "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11) so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Deu 29:29) "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Mat 7:20) Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. 21) "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22) On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23) And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

  2. (Joh 12:47) If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48) The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49) For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment--what to say and what to speak. (Mat 7:13) "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14) For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

  4. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY There is a Uniqueness of the Bible It is inspired of God It is complete It endures forever It is our only way to know God's plan for man's salvation

  5. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY There is a Uniqueness of the Bible It is inspired of God 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (English Standard Version) 20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21 (English Standard Version) 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (English Standard Version)

  6. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY There is a Uniqueness of the Bible It is inspired of God It is complete 3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, 2 Peter 1:3 (English Standard Version) 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (English Standard Version)

  7. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY There is a Uniqueness of the Bible It is inspired of God It is complete It endures forever (1Pet 1:25) but the word of the Lord remains forever." And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

  8. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY There is a Uniqueness of the Bible It is inspired of God It is complete It endures forever It is our only way to know God's plan for man's salvation (Jer. 10:23) I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps. (Prov 23:23) Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.

  9. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY It is our only way to know God's plan for man's salvation (Joh 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (Joh 8:23) He said to them, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. (2 Tim 3:15) and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (Psa 19:7) The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; 8) the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9) the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.

  10. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY Characteristics of Satan : (1Jn 3:8) Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. (Joh 8:44) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (Rev 12:9) And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. (1Pet 5:8) Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

  11. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (1Thess 3:5) For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn about your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor would be in vain. (Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'?" 2) And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3) but God said, 'You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.'" 4) But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 5) For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." 6) So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. (Act 5:3) But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

  12. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (Luk 4:1) And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2) for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. 3) The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." 4) And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone.'" 5) And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6) and said to him, "To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. 7) If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours." 8) And Jesus answered him, "It is written, "'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'" 9) And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, 10) for it is written, "'He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,' 11) and "'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'" 12) And Jesus answered him, "It is said, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'" 13) And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.

  13. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (John 8:44) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (2 Cor 11:14) And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. (Mat 13:19) When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path (2 Cor 2:11) so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs. (Eph 6:11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. (Luk 22:31) "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,

  14. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (1Tim 5:15) For some have already strayed after Satan. (1Tim 1:20) among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme. (1Thess 2:18) because we wanted to come to you--I, Paul, again and again--but Satan hindered us. (Jas 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (1Jn 2:13) I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you know the Father.

  16. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (2 Pet 2:9) then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, (Jas 2:19) You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder! (Luk 4:10) for it is written, "'He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,' (Rom 16:20) The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. (1Jn 3:8) Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. (Mat 25:41) "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

  17. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY WHY IS SATAN SUCH A POWERFUL ENEMY? (Eph 6:11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. (Luk 4:13) And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. (2 Cor 11:14) And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. (1Pet 5:8) Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

  18. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY HOW CAN WE DEFEAT SATAN? (Eph 6:11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. (Luk 4:4) And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone.'“ (1 Pet. 3:15) but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (2 Cor. 2:11) so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

  19. KNOWING YOUR ENEMY (1 Cor 10:13) No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (2Pet 2:9) then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, (Heb 13:5) Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6) So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"
