  4. Treatment • Thyroid uptake testing • Killing your thyroid • Lifelong visits to the doctors • Medication

  5. Lifelong Effects • Weight Changes • Tissue behind the eyes swell • Weak stiff muscles and joints • Anxiety, depression • Medication, blood draws • Weakened heart, higher chance for heart attacks

  6. Conclusion The past five years I have learned a lot about the human body and how Graves Disease effects it. I have also learned why it is so important to check your thyroid if you are having any of the symptoms. Having your health on track effects your work performance and work ethic in a whole.
