  1. Reflexive Verben mitAkkusativ A reflexive verb is a verb that has an object which is the same as the subject of the verb. German uses the reflexive much more frequently than English does. Normally the reflexive pronoun will be accusative.  The following list is for reflexive verbs and reflexive verb preposition combinations in German that take an accusative object.

  2. (sich) amüsieren Ichamüsieremich. I amuse myself. To amuse oneself

  3. sich aufregen Warumregst du dich auf? Why are you getting so angry? To get angry

  4. sich benehmen Erkannsichnichtbenehmen. He can’t behave himself. To behave oneself

  5. sichentscheiden Ichkannmichnichtentscheiden. I can’t decide. (for myself) To decide for oneself

  6. (sich) entschuldigen Ich muss michleiderentschuldigen. I must regretfully excuse myself. To excuse onself

  7. sicherinnern an + Akk Du musstdichdaranerinnern. You have to remember about that. To remember
