  11. Student Feedback “I learned better time management skills, such as studying in between classes rather than taking a nap or watching television. I also learned how to communicate through conflict with my roommate by employing techniques like using "I" statements, asking directed questions, and observing body language.” “The Spring into Success Conference was a perfect segue into my second semester - especially after transferring from another institution. I was able to get a fresh sense of adrenaline for the new semester, with the programming designed for academic success. Plus, I was able to explore the opportunities Delaware has for me in regards to service, global studies, and academic and career resources. Having these few days to gather information and some motivation was integral to my feeling comfortable at the University of Delaware as a transfer student.” “I learned how stress and anxiety can affect someone's mental and physical health. I learned about my strengths through StrengthsQuest. I learned how important it is to broaden my network to make myself more marketable in the professional world. I learned time management skills.
