  2. Jesus—Our Savior Romans 3:22 The righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

He Is the Savior “. . . give him the name JESUS, because he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). “The Son of Man came to SEEK and to SAVE save what was lost” (Luke 19:10). “…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45) “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to SAVE sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15).   4. 2. Because Jesus Is My Savior . . . My sins have been FORGIVEN(Colossians 1:14) I have PEACE with God (Romans 5:1) I have been declared RIGHTEOUS (Romans 5:19) I am a NEW CREATURE (2 Corinthians 5:17) I have ETERNAL LIFE (John 3:16) I have been ADOPTED by God (Ephesians 1:5) His Holy Spirit LIVES in me (Galatians 4:6) Jesus is my ADVOCATE (1 John 2:1) Nothing can SEPARATE me from God’s love (Romans 8:35) Session 2: Jesus—Our Savior

  5. Because Jesus Is My Savior . . . DEATH has no more power over me (1 Corinthians 15:54–57) I have an INHERITANCE that can never perish (1 Peter 1:3–5) AND THAT IS ONLY A PARTIAL LIST!!! Session 2: Jesus—Our Savior
