Because tungsten is heavy and dense, it’s appropriate for shielding against high-energy electromagnetic radiation. Plus, Triamet’s melting point of more than 1,000°C makes sure there is little fire risk. ▰Triamet is also used in radiation therapy for tumor treatment.
