  1. Do Not Be Afraid to Tell the Good News Acts 8:4, 8, 39; Romans 6:23

  2. Go “Make Disciples” • The Apostles led the way in making disciples (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 5:41-42) • Others followed their lead! (Acts 8:4) • Their purpose is our purpose! (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 26:18) • The Master is expecting this of us! (Luke 14:23) • We must fish and keep at it! (Matt. 4:19)

  3. Do not be Afraid that Imperfection Disqualifies You • The Lord helped both Peter and Paul overcome this fear (Luke 5:4-10; 1 Timothy 1:12-15) • Men with the gospel are jars of clay! (2 Cor. 4:7)

  4. Do not be Afraid that You Won’t Know What to Say Get yourself ready! (1 Peter 3:15) • Study! (2 Timothy 2:15) • Investigate! (Acts 17:11) • Pray! (Acts 4:29; Col. 4:2-6) • Get experience!

  5. Do not be Afraid of Rejection or Persecution • Paul at Corinth • Acts 18:1-17 • 1 Corinthians 2:2-3 • Respect God’s Power, not man’s • 1 Peter 3:13-16 • Luke 12:1-3 • 2 Timothy 1:7-8

  6. Don’t Be a Chicken • No one in heaven will think they spent too much time sharing the gospel! (1 Thess. 2:19-29) • Every soul is priceless to God! • The more you step out in faith to share the gospel, the more God will empower you. (Eph. 3:20; Phil. 2:13) • It doesn’t matter if people of the world don’t like you. (Prov. 29:25) • If you let fear win, you’ll regret it for eternity.
