  2. #1. THE FLATTERY AND THE FALSE ACCUSATIONS.VSS. 1-6. A. Note the flattery.vss.1-4.(orator= pleader.) 1st. Tertullus knew every word was a lie. 2nd. Felix knew they were a lie…. 3rd. We see he must have been good or it was all planned out. Vs.9. B. Note vs.6. Even lied about the arrest…… 1st. There is no arrest in mob violence. 2nd. This is no more than “a ecclesiastically lynching gang. 3rd. Lysias made the arrest to keep Paul from being pulled apart. C. Note the false charges against Paul….. 1st. A “pestilent fellow.” 2nd. A “mover of sedition.” 3rd. A “ringleader of the Nazarenes.” 4th. A “profaner of the Temple

  3. #2. NEED TO NOTE, “THE DEFENCE.”VSS.9-21. A. Note Paul made no attempt to flatter the governor. 1st. Did note he had many years judging the matters. 2nd. Noted he was able to understand the nature of the case at hand. Vss.10-11. B. He did present his own defense. Vss.12-21. 1st. Thing, He denied the charges. Vss. 12-13. 2nd. Thing, Note his confession of faith in…….. C. LESSON: The TRUTH always wins out…… D. Paul understood the O.T. Law and the Roman Law…

They don’t have enough “moral integrity or intestinal fortitude to stand on own….. 1st. This means they will fall for ANYTHING.. 2nd. Their convictions are based on someone else and what THEY believe…..
