Results Base Management (RBM)In practice, RBM is: • defining realistic expected results based on appropriate analysis; • clearly identifying program beneficiaries and designing programmes to meet their needs; • monitoring progress toward results and resources consumed with the use of appropriate indicators; • identifying and managing risk; • increasing knowledge by learning lessons and integrating them into decisions; and • reportingon the results achieved and resources involved.

  12. New Doris reporting system - How to access the DoRIS Reporting Service? In order to use the DoRIS reporting System you need to follow these instructions: • Select ‘Report’ on the main toolbar. • Open the report. • Select the folder ‘ Doris Reports’.

Project Level Information (PLI) - How to create an organization & person Before creating a project the Programme Operators must insert all information related to the organizations and persons involved in the project into DoRIS. The organizations involved in the project are the Project Operator, the Project Donor Partner and the Project Partner.

  14. Project Level Information (PLI)How to complete the PLI In order to create a project the POs need to follow these instructions: • Insert all the info about the organization involved; • Insert all the contact information for the organizations main contacts; • Click on Create New Project

Project Level Information (PLI)Project summary • Max 1 000 characters - no spaces • Write in an accessible way, using clear and understandable language • Be as concrete as possible and avoid jargon, abbreviations and technical/bureaucratic language • Focus on the what the project will actually achieve

  16. The project summary should cover the following points: Why is the project needed? (Describe current problems /challenges. Include any relevant references to wider public plans or priorities) What is the objective of the project? (The objective of a project is equivalent to an outcome of a programme) What is the project expected to achieve? (Describe the project outcome(s) and mention any concrete targets or indicators) How will the project address these challenges? (Describe the project outputs – what will be produced or delivered?) Who is expected to benefit? (Target groups) How will bilateral relations be strengthened? (Describe the role of the donor partner, where relevant) What will the partnership achieve?

Project Level Information (PLI)Project summary - example Project summary - example(997 characters-no spaces) Beneficiary state: Slovakia Priority sector: Civil Society Programme number: SK10 Project title: Green Footprint Summary: Eastern Slovakia is a region facing many challenges, with high rates of unemployment and a large disadvantaged Roma population. The objective of the project is to contribute to improving the sustainable development of the region. The project will specifically focus on developing local sustainable food and energy efficient solutions. Three community urban gardens and 17 rural gardens will be built. People will be taught basic organic farming techniques to help them grow their own produce. One hundred energy efficient cooking stoves will be installed in the homes of Roma families and training provided in their use. The donor project partner - Change the World (Norgesvel) - will contribute its know-how and many years of experience in developing local sustainable solutions. It will organise courses and workshops in organic farming, eco-friendly building techniques and the use of energy efficient devices. It will also create an online database compiling practical solutions for reducing ecological footprints.     The main beneficiaries of the project will be disadvantaged groups, including Roma. The general public will also be able to learn from the online database.

The manual is also useful when working with reports generated from DoRIS. • Project Level Information help texts • The manual contains explanations on the PLI module in DoRIS
