  2. What is PubMed？ • 資料來源：National Library of Medicine（NLM）之National Center for Biotechnology Information（NCBI）所製作之生物醫學相關的書目索引摘要資料庫，免費提供PubMed Central所典藏的全文文獻及付費全文連結服務。 • 收錄範圍 • Medline:1965- • Old Medline:1950-1965 • In Process Ciations • Publisher-Supplied Citations

  3. 連線方式 • 從圖書館首頁-電子資源查詢-資料庫-選擇PubMed資料庫 • 直接連至網址：http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez，即可使用PubMed資料庫

  4. 主畫面介紹   檢索區 使用者可輸入欲查詢的主題 詞彚、作者、刊名、文獻識 別碼（PMID）等 功能快捷列 1.Limits 2.Preview/Index 3.History 4.ClipBoard 5.Details PubMed服務項目 

  5. Search Field • 正確格式：限制詞在檢索詞之後—aromatherapy [mh] • Mesh Headings →[mh] • Title →[ti] • Text Words →[tw] • Journal Title；ISSN →[ta] • Author →[au]

  6. Search Skills • 檢索詞的轉換 • 使用者輸入的檢索詞會自動轉換至MeSH，但系統會同時以MeSH及Text Word進行檢索。 • “片語”： single cell vs. “single cell” • 切截 • 以*作為切截符號，如：flavor*→flavored, flavorful, flavoring,etc. • infection*，以單字詞為主要對象，如infections，無法找到片語infection control。 • 布林邏輯-AND、OR、NOT，需以大寫輸入。如運用二個以上的布林語法，則利用（）以利系統判定執行先後。 • 同時使用兩個以上的布林邏輯語法，如：common cold AND (vitamin c OR zinc)，括弧中的主題概念之組合將先被運算後視為一個概念，再與括弧外的主題概念進行運算。

  7. Search Skills • 作者檢索：查詢時輸入形式為： 姓 名字的首字縮寫，不加標點符號，例如：smith ja [au] • 期刊名檢索：不論是輸入期刊名的全稱、縮寫或是ISSN，對系統而言，皆是對應到刊名檢索，例如：New England Journal of Medicine，其意義同N Engl J Med [ta]

  8. Search Result • 展示 • Summary、Brief、Abstract、LinkOut • 顯示筆數 • 可選擇每頁呈現筆數，系統預設為20筆 • 排序 • 作者、刊名、出版日期 • 儲存與純文字檔 • 如未勾選，系統預設為全選 • 存檔Save

  9. Search Result • Related Articles相關文獻 • Links • Books：從摘要中擷取主題概念並列出相關的MeSH主題詞，可以連至相關的電子書全文。 • LinkOut：可以連結至線上電子全文、書目資料庫清單、消費者健康資訊、研究資料等外部連結資料。 • PMID：表示本篇文獻在系統中的流水編號

  11. PubMed Searching • 輸入查詢詞彙，按Go或Enter • Summary format: • Author name(s) • Title • Source • Review Publication Type • PMID • Links

  13. Feature Bar -Limit 使用者可設定查詢的欄位、附摘要的文獻、出版品的類型、 語文、主題類別、研究對象年齡層、研究對象、性別、系 統最近更新時間、出版時間等。

  14. Feature Bar –Preview / Index • 預覽Preview顯示檢索歷史的最後三筆查詢。 • 可預覽先前檢索結果之筆數，並決定是否要修正檢索策略，如不修正亦可從筆數值接連至檢索結果。 • 亦可在Add Term(s) to Query or View Index從特定領域中選一字串加入搜尋策略預覽檢索結果，或是按下Index，依各欄位中該詞出現的資料比數，並選擇AND、OR、NOT加入原有的檢索策略中進行檢索。

  15. Feature Bar –History 每次的檢索，系統都會產生一個檢索號碼，本區可看到所有的檢索步驟 歷史紀錄，如要運用先前的檢索策略，可直接輸入檢索號碼並以布林邏 輯加以運算，如：#1 AND #5。但此紀錄在系統未運作八小時後將被系 統消除。 檢索歷史至多可保留100筆資料。查詢超過100筆時，PubMed會移除最 早的查詢資料以容納最新的資料 。

  19. Feature Bar –Details • 使用者輸入檢索詞彙後，可在此檢視PubMed將檢索詞轉換成系統控制詞彙之內容為何。 • 可在PubMed Query中進行檢索策略之編輯或是按下URL，將該檢索策略以網址形式儲存在瀏覽器的書籤檔案中。

  25. PubMed Services—Single Citation Matcher • 使用欄位化的檢索方式，找尋特定刊名、卷期、作者、篇名的文獻資料。

  26. PubMed Services—Clinical Queries • 提供臨床病理資料之查詢，並依Haynes RB等專家所制定的最佳化檢索策略之機制 • 使用者可先行選擇檢索方向，如：治療方式(Therapy)、診斷方式(Diagnosis)、病因(Etiology)、癒後狀況(Prognosis)等，並選擇預期之檢索結果是較具相關性(sensitivity)或精確率(specificity)來做決策。
