  1. Note - if all your photos on the desktop are similarly dull or similarly blurred or whatever (which often happens since the same camera under the same conditions usually took the photos). You could make a Macro to adjust the most average of the photos. Making Macros in Photoshop

  2. Open the Window Menu and click on all of the following:Tools Options  Navigator Actions Layers &  Status Bar

  3. This is what you will see. Now open a photo you want to adjust

  4. Click on the arrow and click off of Button Mode Choose New Action…

  5. This box will Apear Name: Put in what you will remember, in this case 199 If you want, choose a Function Key to use for the Macro

  6. Choose a color, alternate colors or choose the same color for the same macro i.e. yellow for size, green for effects etc. whatever you will rememeber!

  7. This is a continuation of Macros but for correcting a series of photos

  8. All your actions are now being recorded so do what you would normally do to fix the photo. Here choose Image/Adjustments/Levels and adjust the triangles

  9. Here choose Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask

  10. Choose your percentage, I usually use 35%

  11. Now choose Stop Recording to end the Macro

  12. Choose Button Mode to go back to the Button view

  13. Now undo the adjustment you just made by going to Edit/Step Backward

  14. And this takes you back to the original photo Now choose the Restore Down icon to return to viewing all the photos

  15. So now you see all the photos and it is time to run the custom Macro you made

  16. Choose File/Automate/Batch

  17. From the Actions drop down menu choose the new Macro you made (make sure to have the Source drop down showing Opened Files)

  18. And that Macro will run and apply the changes to ALL the open photos.
