  2. Scotland is a country that located in Europe. It is a part of the United Kingdom and it covers the northern third of the island of Great Britain. It shares a border with England to the south, and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea, the North Channel, and Irish Sea. Flag of Scotland

  3. The official flag of the country consists of a white cross on a blue background and is known as St. Andrew’s Cross.  

  4. Scotland has a very rich wildlife and it is typical of the north west Europe. The golden eagle is something like a national icon.
