  2. Barnacle removal testing *CRS on intersleek coatings are usually between 0.8 and 2.0 N/mm2 depending on which exact formulation and other variable factors, so these CRS values are relatively high.

  3. Streamer section A Thin Si Fluoro polymer Thin Si ABR ABL AFL AFR Missing after pics, but I think you took some on your phone • All barnacles broke when removed via force gauge, no CRS calculated • Average % BPR was 65% • Water jet results: • 13% macrofouling remained • 13% barnacles remained • Average CRS =0.44 N/mm2 with only 40% removing completely • Average % BPR was 47% • Water jet results: • 15% macrofouling remained • 10% barnacles remained • Large portions of coating peeling/torn

  4. Streamer section B Thick Si Fluoro polymer Thick Si BBL BBR BFR BFL BFR after Water jet BFL after Water jet • Average CRS = 0.45 N/mm2 with 83% removing completely • Average % BPR was 8% • Water jet results: • 10% macrofouling remained • 80% barnacles remained • Coating peeled/tore in small areas with barnacle removal • Average CRS =0.56 N/mm2 with 100% removing completely • Average % BPR was 3% • Water jet results: • 7% macrofouling remained • 67% barnacles remained

  5. Streamer section C Thin Si + Copper Fluoro polymer Thin Si +Copper CBR CBL CFR CFL CFR after Water jet CFL after Water jet • Average CRS = 0.39 N/mm2 with 86% removing completely • Average % BPR was 8% • Water jet results: • 20% macrofouling remained • 10% barnacles remained • Coating peeled/tore in small areas with barnacle removal • Average CRS =0.51 N/mm2 with 31% removing completely • Average % BPR was 43% • Water jet results: • 56% macrofouling remained • 89% barnacles remained • Coating peeled/tore in small areas with barnacle removal

  6. Streamer section D Thick Si + Copper Fluoro polymer Thick Si +Copper DBR DBL DFR DFL DFL after Water jet DFR after Water jet • Average CRS = 0.30 N/mm2 with 80% removing completely • Average % BPR was 13% • Water jet results: • 60% macrofouling remained • 93% barnacles remained • Average CRS =0.45 N/mm2 with 43% removing completely • Average % BPR was 26% • Water jet results: • 65% macrofouling remained • 73% barnacles remained

  7. Streamer section E Polyurethane control EBR EBL EFL EFR DFR after Water jet EFL after Water jet • All barnacles broke when removed via force gauge, no CRS calculated • Average % BPR was 81% • Water jet results: • 40% macrofouling remained • 60% barnacles remained

  8. Streamer section F Copper control FBL FBR FFL FFR FFR after Water jet FFL after Water jet No fouling observed on copper control except perhaps a thin layer of biofilm, or slime.
