  2. VGS Task Forces • MIC - Energy Product Codes – eTags– (Task Force dissolved by MIC 10/24/13) • SPSG – Demand Response – Final report dated Dec 2013 at link • OC – Operating Reserves for VG – Scope of task force approved last October.

  3. New VGS Task Force • Variable Energy Resource (VER) Integration Dashboard • Development is guided by a committee of industry leaders and SPSC members. • Completed work, work-in-process, and potential future work, posted at: http://www.westgov.org/ver/index.htm

  4. New VGS Task Force • Interconnection Requirements • Sept 2012 - A NERC Integrating VG Task Force produced a report link with proposed standard modifications titled: “Interconnection Requirements for Variable Generation” • Task Force is being assembled 5-6 parties have expressed interest to date. • BPA has provided some documents of their Interconnection Requirements • Next Steps: Select a Chair, draft scope and draft a White Paper

  5. Brainstorm Idea – New Joint Transmission Expansion Planning Policy Committee (TEPPC)-VGS Task Force • VGS assigned to create a scope document for a possible TEPPC-VGS joint task force for sub-hourly data set. • Intent to mirror the hourly data set used today in transmission planning studies. • TEPPC uses GridView as production modeling tool (ABB is developing sub-hourly capability for Gridview).
