IMAGE 2 Our Profile The Change Mission was established in 2010 by a team of young professionals who share the common desire to utilize our combined resources to effectuate the change we wish to see in the world. We are spread across the globe, with the key team residing in New York City, Dubai, Houston and Riyadh. We embrace all people and are not affiliated with any ethnic group, religion or political ideology. The Change Mission is in the process of being registered as a charity in the United Kingdom to be regulated by the Charities Commission of England and Wales, and we intend to establish branches in any locations where the need arises. Partnership To join hands with local people and communities as partners in all of our initiatives, while seeking to understand and preserve their culture. Knowledge To understand the core causes leading to poverty, crisis and conflict in order to identify both micro and macro solutions. Values To extend compassion, foster hope, maintain commitment, promote dignity and display respect in all of our initiatives. Resource Allocation To utilize our human and monetary resources in an efficient, transparent and socially responsible manner. The Change Mission is embarking on its first project to rebuild Joseph Lewis Janvier College in Haiti..  Introduction to Project Haiti College Louis Joseph Janvier, located in Port Au Prince, was destroyed by the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake that shook the Haitian city on 12 January 2010. Prior to the earthquake, College Louis Joseph Janvier was providing education to over seven hundred students in grades ranging from kindergarten to the twelfth grade. During the earthquake and the subsequent looting, the school lost almost all of its resources and materials and many of our students lost their homes, along with other basic means of survival. Through the hard work and dedication of the school’s founder and principal, a native Haitian, on 11 October 2010, the doors of College Louis Joseph Janvier were reopened in temporary structure, where over five hundred students are currently receiving an education with extremely limited resources. In our inaugural project, we aim to redevelop College Louis Joseph Janvier into a safe sustainable learning environment, where our students receive encouragement, opportunity and hope, in addition to a basic education. If our principles are in line with your desire to effect positive change, and you believe in our mission, we look forward to joining hands with you. We have highlighted below the key ways you can contribute, but are always open to receive any ideas or suggestions. Human Contributions With compassion, creativity and knowledge, you have the ability to touch, and even change, the lives of our students. Our current teams include Development, Marketing and Fundraising, Finance, Legal and Operations. We are always welcoming new members to our team which utilize a variety of skills sets, including without limitation, skills related to construction and architecture, marketing, design, legal advice and structuring, grant writing and education. Monetary Contributions Monetary support is a vital element of contribution required for the reconstruction and redevelopment of College Louis Joseph Janvier. We are deeply committed to ensuring that all financial donations received are contributed in an efficient and transparent manner.
