  7. Finance Approved Study Billing Plan What’s New? The VICTR SRC team will need the approved Finance billing plan to begin reviewing the VICTR Resource Request. Why? Confirm the items being requested to be paid for by VICTR are accurately reflected on the billing plan. And identify all other study payers, if any, for proper charging as well. Value?   8. StarPanel Research Patient Registration Form • What’s New? Every research patient scheduled in the CRC will need a completed StarPanel Research Patient Registration Form. • Why? 1) To document a consent date or a pending consent; 2) Patient Care and Safety; 3) Links research patient to the study for billing;4) Reduces the risk of patient being billed for research • Value? 1) Streamlines informed consent verification; 2) Study patient safety; 3) Proper routing of charges; and 4) Institutional clinical research federal payor reporting requirements CRC Opt.
