Aims To enable every learner (pupils and teachers) in Scotland to benefit from an international education in order to: • develop knowledge and understanding of the world and Scotland’s place in it. • develop the knowledge, understanding, skills, values and attitudes to participate actively in a global world Learning and Teaching Scotland

International learning experiences • support links between staff and/or schools • contribute to CPD portfolio • lead to enhanced qualifications through accreditation • develop improvement in learning and teaching in schools/local authorities through implementation of actions following visits by staff.   14. Dissemination • Maximising potential to learn from international practice through dissemination to different audiences • Reporting (three stages) Learning and Teaching Scotland
