  2. 1 Knowledge Center Social Europe (1) Knowledge Center Social Europe has 2 main activities • Informing the federations of the non profit sector and the Flemish regional authorities, among others department of welfare, public health and family about European Policy • Informing and supporting organizations (both public and private) in European subvention lines and projects

  3. 1 Knowledge Center Social Europe (2) Knowledge Center Social Europe is a member organization • Federations of the non profit sector (social economy, care for elderly and people with a disability, youth care, migrant and integration sector, hospitals) • Social enterprises out of the non profit sector

  4. 1 Knowledge Center Social Europe (3) Knowledge Center Social Europe has a strong network, in Flanders and Europe • Supportedby different departments of the Flemishgovernment • Supportedby a wide range of federations of the non profit sector • Close collaborationwithVleva – Flemish-European liason agency • Active in different European formalandinformalnetworks

  5. 2 Information and support for social enterprises (1) Basic Information • Selection of ca. 30 relevant subvention lines for the non profit sector • Mailservices for calls, partnersearches, information sessions and netwerkevents • Website (in development) with individual organisation profile (sector, which kind of project, to whom / what directed) + project databank

  6. 2 Information and support for social enterprises (2) A step further: brokerage tools and making the link • Screening of the priorities and ideas in the view of the development of a European strategy in the organization • Individual counseling (analysis of the project objectives, technical questions, advice for partnersearches, …) • Partnersearch (via our European networks we find the right partners) • Thematic contact seminars and brokerage events to ‘create’ projects
