  2. Asl 1 & 2: Welcome! Today-pep rally schedule : • Quick Doorbuster- Please copy and answer the following (#1-3): • 1. What does it mean to be in an ASL environment? • 2. List at least 4 strategies I allow to help you stay in an ASL environment for your daily grades. • 3. ASL is more like (which spoken language?) than English. • Today: 1. Written Doorbuster • 2. Motivational Video  • 3. Letter to Self • 4. Ticket Out: Remind101 for ASL class and how to join the ASL club; ASL club officer nominations meeting – Monday before/after school.

  3. Doorbuster Answers (correct your paper): • Quick Doorbuster- Please copy and answer the following (#1-3): • 1. What does it mean to be in an ASL environment? Equalcommunication for Deaf and hearing--- no voice, no sound, no whisper, etc. • 2. List at least 4 strategies I allow to help you stay in an ASL environment for your daily grades. Signing, fingerspelling, gesture, lipreading/mouthing, writing, etc. • 3. ASL is more like spoken Chinese than English.
