  7. ECOD Data Share functionality Two report groups: Stock and sales reports: Forward stock (ratio of stock in retailers/distributors to average daily sales) Inventory reports (stock of products by date, products, location of POS’s) Flow of documents: Comparison of the volume of different document types (e.g. if the number of invoices is the same as the number of orders) Corretness of product EAN codes Service level (performance): number of goods ordered vs. number of goods delivered/invoices

  8. Implementation of two reports related todocument flow: Delivery level performance – presents the order realization level by a supplier (producer) in a chosen period. Reports are generated based on order and invoice document analysis – comparison between the ordered quantity and invoiced quantity Report of sent documents Report compares the number of order documents sent to a particular partner with equivalent documents (desadv, invoice) in a given time period. Case Studies – retailer in Poland

  10. Project goals: quick access to current information regarding inventory, sales and the prediction of ‘next order date’ prediction of order quantity decrease of delay in information flow to 24 hours improvement in control of shipping and receiving of returnable packages current access to the actual balance of returnable packages Case Studies – leading retailer in Poland

Producer (supplier) receives quick and complete information about his product stock and product sales in particular partner locations (reports and analysis available in EDS) =>advantages: Inventory optimization Manufacturing planning Product sales forecast Improvement of data management on supplier side Decrease of logistics costs by improved logistic process planning

  14. Reportingfromtraditional channel Producers have number of distributors and almost no knowledge of sales and inventory What can you do? • Data matching between many different IT systems and data exchange via EDI • Complex data analysis and reporting • Business portal for effective partner communication

  15. Innovative communication platform to interchange data needed to manage sales between a distributor and a producer • Fully automatic data interchange in traditional sales channel • Daily reporting of data to the producer • Re-sale • Stock in the distributors’ warehouses • Full electronic and automatic exchange of documents and data between a producer and distributors – including automatic transmission of orders generated by a producer’s sales reps to Distributors’ internal systems

  16. Risks associated with mass projects ECOD Distribution projects are 80% organizational processes and just 20% the IT solution Why it is critical - example: 1500 pages of project documentation 600 people engaged in implementation 450 distributors 400 interfaces 340 agreements, annexes, orders with integrators 120 different internal distributor systems 100 integrators 800 daily reports coming to Comarch • Organizing the connection process • Manage communication in the project • Tool to support and manage the project
