Financial Deadlines Friday, January 11th: All 2012 checks must be turned in by 5:00 pm Monday, February 11th: All proceeds from Alternative Fundraisers must be turned in by 5:00 pm Saturday, February 16th: All Funds to be credited to an organization must be turned in by 11:59 pm Sunday, February 17th: All Funds for the THON 2013 Total must be submitted by 11:59 am
  3. Corporate Contact Deadline Due by January 28th We need time to get in touch with your donors!
  4. Thanking Donors Donor Information available on THINK Stationery available for sale with THON logo Cash only in the THON Office $3 – 10 card $5 – 20 cards $8 – 30 cards $10 – 40 cards $25 – 100 cards
  5. Organization Merchandise Now is the busiest time for THON’s licensed vendors Please respect the deadline of Friday, January 25th All designs must first be submitted to licensing@thon.org for approval
  6. Dancer Registration In person Dancer Registration Dates: Monday, January 28, 2013: Independent Dancers and Organizations in the Lottery Tuesday, January 29, 2013: General and Special Interest Organizations Wednesday, January 30, 2013: Greek Organizations and Commonwealth Campuses Registration takes place in 129 HUB All organizations must have raised a minimum of $2,600 to register dancers

Dancer Registration Items to Bring to In-person Registration: Completed Dancer Registration Forms Completed EMS forms for BOTH Dancers Penn State Student ID Check or ASA Transfer for registration fee of $80 All Dancers not selected in Lottery will have check or ASA transfer returned. Cash payments WILL NOT be refunded If you have any questions, please contact dancer.registration@thon.org
  8. Dancer Meetings 1& 2 Dancer Meeting #1: February 6, 2013 at 8pm in IM Building - Gym 3, doors open at 7:30pm Followed by Color Wars Kick Off! If unable to attend Dancer Meeting #1, a meeting with the Overall Morale Chairperson, Melanie Sessa, must be scheduled. Please contact her at morale@thon.org. Dancer Meeting #2: February 15, 2013 in the Multi-Sport Complex Arrive by 3:30pm, Doors Open at 3pm Followed by the Human Tunnel to the BJC!
  9. Medication Protocol A Pre-THON Medication Drop-off will take place on Monday, February 11th, 10am – 5pm in 325 HUB. Driver License and prescription bottle with medication should be brought to Medication Collection Do not place individual dosages into bags before arriving. This will be completed by School of Nursing. Remaining Medication Drop-Offs will occur at check-in to Dancer Meeting #2 Absolutely no medication can be brought into THON by Dancers

THON Entrance Plan For the Beginning of THON, all spectators will have to enter in the following way: At 2pm, Spectators may begin lining up in the rope lines set up from University drive to the Southwest corner of Stadium West Lot The line will be roped off to and monitored by Captains The line will extend from the corner of the lot to the exit of the service road to University Drive NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO STAND ON UNIVERSITY DRIVE
  11. THON Entrance Plan At 3:50pm, groups of spectators will be allowed to cross Curtin Road and enter the roped lineson BJC property. Captains will allow groups to file into the barricades set up next to Gates A and B until the doors are opened to the BJC at 4 pm. Groups of 20 people at a time will be allowed in the doors by Captains at Gates A and B. Anyone found to be cutting into line or rushing the line will have their organizations passes suspended

BJC Rules Absolutely no alcohol is allowed in the BJC Any organization member found to have been drinking will result in organization’s Pass Suspension During the hours of 11:00pm-4:00am only gate B will be open No unsealed liquids will be permitted at this time No large containers are allowed in the BJC This include pizza boxes, water cases, duffel bags, t-shirt boxes, plastic containers etc.
  14. BJC Rules Saving seats is not allowed No throwing/passing objects from the stands to the floor No standing on the seats No standing in the portals or aisles No sitting in seats No charging cell phones using BJC Outlets

Pass Lists Submitted online at THINK.psu.edu Close on February 3rdat 11:59 pm ABSOLUTELY NO PASS LISTS WILL BE ADDED AFTER THIS DATE Chairs are able to add/edit until deadline Be sure to arrange with dancers to include family and friends General Org Passes vs. Finale Passes General Org: first 42 hours, 3 hours per pass, 15 names per pass Finale: final four hours only, 1 name per pass Cannot use Corporate Passes or Four Diamonds Family Passes Passes and THON Weekend Pass tables and closures

PASS System Access to the floor will be granted at Portal 14 All passholders must have the following to access the floor: Name must be on a Pass List Must have a Pass available Must have valid photo identification No texting system will be used this year All passholders must wait in line The System for General Passes will close at 10:15am on Sunday 2/17 Finale PASS Check on will begin at 11:30am on Sunday 2/17

PASS System Features Mobile PASS Allows all passholders to view how many passes their list has available from their mobile phone PASS Info Booth Allows all passholders to view how many passes their list has available Located at gate A THON Chair PASS Allows THON Chairs to view who is using their passes using their mobile phone See Instructions on THON Chair Signup Handout
  19. THON Chair PASS Access Visit signup.pass13.org Follow all instructions to sign up Once approved, you can access your pass list from your mobile phone via pass.thon.org!

PASS System Suspension Passes can and will be suspended if an organization is involved in misconduct in the BJC Any member violating any rule of THON or the Bryce Jordan Center can result in pass suspension Both Members of the paired organization will be suspended Passholders must exit the floor when their pass has expired The System tracks expired passes and a single expired pass will result in suspension
  21. The Pit Due to new Bryce Jordan Center seating equipment, the Pit will not be available during THON weekend The only way to visit a dancer on the floor is through the PASS System
  22. Helping the BJC Please make sure to clean up trash in your area and pay attention to items that should be recycled Portal sweeps will occur throughout the weekend; look for OPP & pass trash to Committee Members! To report any spills, look for an OPP Captain Be sure to thank any BJC staff member; they are a key part in keeping the BJC as THON’s home!

After Total Reveal To ensure the safety of every Dancer leaving the BJC After the total reveal, all FINALE pass holders will exit the floor via the passholder stairs on the northeast end of the dance floor All Dancers will exit the floor with belongings out of the northeast side of the Dance floor Morale Committee Members will carry Dancers’ bags and find their ride home outside. Dancer will sign out with their ride home and be free to go NO PASSHOLDERS MAY EXIT WITH DANCERS
  24. Interacting with Families Please note that Family Passes cannot be used by organization members
