  3. Selective Breeding Breeding of specific individuals in order to bring out a particular result. Where have you seen selective breeding?

  4. Artificial insemination The artificial transfer of sperm into a female reproductive tract

  5. Embryo Transfer • Embryos are artificially fertilized and then transferred to a surrogate. • Embryos are easy to ship • Animals a better survival if they stay where they were born, rather than imported.

  6. In vitro Fertilization Eggs and Sperm are combined together in a test tube. After fertilization, the embryo is transferred to the woman’s uterus

  7. Cloning The production of identical cells, genes or entire organisms.
