Ian Davenport is a British artist. He is 45 years old and he lives in London. He trained at the Goldsmith’s college in London –lots of other famous artists went to this college as well. In 1991 Davenport was nominated for the Turner prize – this is a very prestigious prize for artists.

Ian Davenport is a British artist. He is 45 years old and he lives in London. He trained at the Goldsmith’s college in London –lots of other famous artists went to this college as well. In 1991 Davenport was nominated for the Turner prize – this is a very prestigious prize for artists. Davenport had a show on at the Tate Modern in 2003 – this is a famous art gallery in London.
The children in year 2 decided to try and copy some of Ian Davenports work. He makes his amazing pictures by dripping paint down a canvas using a syringe.

Lowry was a well known artist who was born on the 1st of November 1887 Stretford, Lancashire and sadly died on the 23rd of February 1976.He was an amazing English artist who just had a passion for art. • He is famous for drawing and painting everyday things such as people walking and buildings in the back ground. First he began to draw pictures of were he lived and as he did this he made him self a decent career
Life Before Lowry was born his mom used to be a teacher and was quite good at it, but soon after he was born his mother suddenly became sick and gave up teaching. Lowry had a tough father therefore he became a very firm man who could stand up to himself in problems. Lowry never got to enjoy life till he grew up because he had a sick mom a strict dad and a lot of pressure. Lowry was a smart kid but not outstanding . He was usually a good boy and was always obedient. Lowry's mom wasn't too found of him till he grew bigger because his mom was hoping for a girl but soon enough the two were laughing and joking.
Education Lowry made a lot of friends at school and was an okay learner. Surprisingly his journey started here because he took private art lessons and he soon found that he had something for art. This little coincidence made him famous over nearly 12 countries. Lowry had another strict life in school because back in those days the schools were very strict and disciplined but this also helped Lowry stand up for himself. Lowry never had any major problems but he did have a lot to work on. His art was graceful but also tiring but something as little as that wasn't going to make him give up on his dream of becoming a famous artist. Lowry spent exactly 12 years of studying but this paid off.
An Amazing Career Lowry was one of the best artists ever to have been known. He was an excellent role model for people of all ages. He will be very well remembered by all. He was stricken and confused but he carried on chasing his dream to become the best artist. Lowry was a great man who will be a legend for all the generations and his greatness will never die out.
