Organizer： Professionalism Taiwan Educational Tour “Kindergarten and Child Care Center Integrated Model” 30 / 8 – 4 / 9 / 2014 The Kindergarten and Child Care Center Integrated model has become one of the important topics for the reform on current early childhood and care education system in Taiwan since 2012. Such integration is said to involve strategies to achieve the future prospect: Consolidate teachers’ professional expertise, enhance operating standards in nurseries, improve education equity gap by assisting children from disadvantaged minorities to receive early education in order to create a new era of early childhood and care education. The Ministry of Education of Malaysia will implement the policy of integration between TADIKA and TASKA wherein allows both of them to be under the same roof. Under the new system, how should we regulate the environment to differentiate facilities to suit both needs? Will the increment of cost affect the quality of education? Together let us explore in Taiwan to learn how to implement TADIKA and TASKA integrated model effectively in order to achieve the goal of high ECCE quality in Malaysia.
